Shandong Union Energy Technology Co., Ltd is a Sino-American energy resources joint venture. The Chinese party holds 52% shares. The Chinese principal of the joint venture Zhang Changdong, acted as the general editor of Shandong Supply and Demand Press in 1989, has done a lot of work in combining the market and the funds of science and technology and economy. He joined in China International Economy Relations Association as the standing director in 1991 and has more than decade’s international business cooperation experience. Since 1993, he has introduced foreign business to enterprises in Shandong province and other provinces as well as the actual 20 million odds USD in place. He has analyzed and studied a large number of energy resource policies, usage, and markets at home and abroad as well as the business modes of Sino-foreign energy sources joint venture. The American party, Yellowstone Power, Inc. is made up of veteran European and American experts who have more than 20 years experience in energy resources, petroleum and power and a very good understanding of the technology in European and American coal and power industry. worked in Canadian and American heat and power plants for 20 years and acts as the Chairman now; Dennis Werner was an engineer in American GE company with more than 20 years business experience; and the company President Jeffrey Gould also has extensive business experience in energy and power industry as well as petroleum and gold mine industries

山东联合能源技术公司是一家中美合资能源技术合资企业，中方占52%的股权。合资中方公司的主要成员张长东先生1989年任山东供求报社总编辑，在科技经济市场资金结合领域作了大量的工作。1991年加入中国国际经济关系学会并担任常务理事，有十多年的国际业务合作经历，自1993年以来，为国内企业引进外资业务，实际到位2000多万美元，历时八年对国内外能源政策、能源利用、能源市场以及中外合资能源企业商业模式进行了大量的研究和分析。合资外方美国黄石动力股份有限公司是由一些在欧美能源石油电力行业有20多年以上资深经验的欧美专家组成，他们对欧美煤炭电力行业的工艺技术有相当的了解，其中汤姆·霍根先生曾在加拿大、美国热电厂工作20多年，并担任总裁；丹尼斯·沃纳先生曾是美国GE公司工程师有20多年的业务经验；公司总裁杰夫·古德先生也在能源电力行业有着丰富的商业经验，并有石油和黄金矿产业。

High-pollution, high-cost and low-income situation exists in China’s most current coal-fired thermal power projects and coal-fired boilers. Shandong Union Energy Technology Co., Ltd is striving to introduce foreign advanced technology, combine with China’s actual situation and replace coal-fired boilers using old technology, making deserved contribution to China’s energy saving and emissions reduction.

我国目前的燃煤热电项目、燃煤锅炉大量存在着高污染高成本低收益的情况，山东联合能源致力于引进国外的先进技术并与中国实际情况相结合，取代这些技术陈旧的燃煤锅炉，为中国的节能减排贡献出应有的力量

Currently, 30% of the thermal power plants that are below 10KW (about 15000 MW capacity totally) have not reach the energy saving and environmental protection scale. Some of them need to be closed down while others desiderate upgrade; on the other hand, the city central heat supply coverage rate in Shandong province is less than 30%, which means that some coal-fired heat supply boilers need upgrade. Shandong province is a big economic as well as high consumption and high emissions province in China with heavy energy saving and emissions reduction task. Based on the current situation, coal-fired power plants and boilers are the key points of the energy saving and emissions reduction. It will be a big drive for completing energy saving and emissions reduction task required by the state council if this technology is applied to upgrade coal-fired power plants and boilers in Shandong province.

目前，在我省一是尚有30%的10KW以下燃煤火电厂(约1500万KW的装机容量)达不到节能环保的规模，除一部分可以关闭以外，还有部分亟需改造；二是我省在城市集中供热覆盖率不足30%，也就是说仍有一部分燃煤取暖锅炉需要改造。山东是中国的经济大省，也是高耗能高排放的大省，节能减排任务艰巨。根据目前情况分析，燃煤电厂、燃煤锅炉是节能排放的重点。如果采用此项技术对山东燃煤电厂和燃煤锅炉进行改造，这对完成国务院布署的节能减排任务会有极大的推动。
