Research Institutions
1. Coal Industry Jinan Design & Research Co., Ltd
Coal Industry Jinan Design & Research Co., Ltd is directly under the former the Ministry of Coal Industry, possessing more than ten class-A and many class-B design aptitude. The institute, with a long history in coal exploration, washing processing and cleaning and great strength in expertise, has a great amount of outstanding engineering achievements in the northeastern area and has won awards of state and ministry levels for many times. This institute plays an important role in the preliminary engineering design of this project by digesting and absorbing foreign technology.
2. Dalian University of Technology Coal Chemistry Research Institute
Dalian University of Technology Coal Chemistry Institute is an important topic research center for coal chemistry and the main professional agency for coal gasification experiment design with leading research level among universities in China. This institute has good test result reports for technology of efficient use of Shandong bituminous coal and the tar separation increase through pyrolysis, which provide technical supports for the coal gasification and tar generation of the project.
3. Tsinghua University Coal Combustion National Engineering Research Center
Tsinghua University Coal Combustion National Engineering Research Center is the national central topic research agency from the seventh five-year plan period to the eleventh five-year plan period. The center has improved thermal control of coal combustion to a quite high level, providing consultative technical supports for secondary output from combined cycle by digesting and absorbing advanced foreign technology, as well as cooperates with units of the project, forming cooperative alliance.
4. Shandong University College of Environmental Science and Engineering
Shandong University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. There are two academicians and many famous experts and professors in its College of Environmental Science and Engineering. This college is a national doctoral point, enjoying high professional competence and reputation in the environmental study field.
5. Shandong Chemical Industry Research Institute
Shandong Chemical Industry Research Institute is the largest comprehensive chemical technology research and development institute in Shandong province. It has 260 existing staffs, including 26 researchers, 84 senior engineers, and 80 engineers, mainly engaged in the application research of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, fine chemistry, biochemistry, chemical design, chemical environmental protection, and chemical apparatus and instruments. In recent years, the institute has obtained more than 100 scientific research results, over 50 of which have been awarded as scientific and technological progress prizes of the state, ministry and provincial levels, and gained more than 20 national patents, possessing strong research and development strength.

1、煤炭工业济南设计研究院
       煤炭工业济南设计研究院是原煤炭工业部直属单位,拥有10余项甲级设计资质和多项乙级设计资质,在煤炭的开采、洗选加工、洁净等方面历史悠久,专业技术力量强,在华东地区拥有大量的工程业绩,曾多次荣获国家及部级奖励。该院在本项目消化吸收国外技术工程初步设计方案中发挥了重要的作用。
2、大连理工大学煤化工研究所
       大连理工大学煤化工研究所是国家的煤化工重要课题中心，是我国煤气化领域工程实验设计的主要专业机构，其研究水平在全国高校居首位。该所在本项目中为山东烟煤的有效利用、增加和提高焦油热解析出的专业技术方面有良好的实验报告结果，为此项目煤气化焦油产出提供技术支持。
3、清华大学煤燃烧国家工程研究中心
       清华大学煤燃烧国家工程研究中心是国家七五至十一五期间的课题研究中心单位，该中心将煤的燃烧热控提高到一个相当高的水平，在此项目中，为提高联合循环二次出力消化吸收国外先进技术提供技术咨询支持，并与项目单位合作，组成合作联盟。
4、山东大学环境科学与工程学院
       山东大学是教育部直属全国重点综合性大学，环境科学与工程学院拥有院士2名，并拥有多位知名专家教授。该院是国家博士生点，在环境学科领域拥有较高的专业能力和知名度。
5、山东省化工研究院
       山东省化工研究院是山东省最大的综合性化学化工技术研究与开发单位，现有职工260人，其中研究员26人，高级工程师84人，工程师80人，主要从事有机化工、无机化工、精细化工、生物化工、化工设计、化工环保、化工仪器仪表等方面的应用研究。近年来该院共取得科研成果100余项，其中50多项分别获得国家、部和省级科技进步奖,获得国家专利20多项,具有较强的研究开发实力。

1. American GE Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd.
American GE Nanjing Turbine Group Company is the turbine production partner of American GE. During more than a decade’s cooperation, Nanjing Turbine factory improves the research and production of GE6B to a new level. Especially after the period that the petroleum resource is tight, there is a greater breakthrough and development in using coal gas in gas turbine, which establishes the hardware ground for IGCC. The team of this project visited and investigated the company in April, 2007 and established business relationship. Now close cooperation is going on.
2. Shanxi Taiyuan Heavy Industry Machine Plant
Shanxi Taiyuan heavy industry machine factory is the leading enterprise among the high-pressure gasifier production enterprises in China. The project’s Chinese and foreign representatives visited and investigated the company in April, 2007 and established business relationship. Now close cooperation is going on
3. Hangzhou Boiler Plant
Hangzhou boiler plant is one of the two companies that produce heat recovery steam generators of the gas turbine. The project’s Chinese and foreign representatives visited and investigated the company in April, 2007 and established business relationship. This plant is actively researching and introducing foreign supplemental firing technology to heat recovery steam generator, which will fill the gap in China. Now close cooperation is going on.
4. Harbin 703 Institute
Harbin 703 Institute is one major representative that produces heat recovery steam generators in China, and has established business relationship after many negotiations with foreign representatives. This plant is actively researching and introducing foreign supplemental firing technology to heat recovery steam generator, which will fill the gap in China. Now close cooperation is going on.
5. Shaanxi Blower Plant
Shaanxi Blower Plant is one of the principal representatives of the enterprises in this field, with the large-size blower ranked first in the gasification power system area. The enterprise actively absorbs the advanced foreign technology in the power transfer technology procedures and explores and develops integrated gasification combined cycle IGCC power system standards with Chinese characteristics of intellectual property.
6. Wuhan Steam Turbine Plant
Wuhan Steam Turbine Plant is one of China’s main steam turbine manufacturers with great strength and high fame in China. It is the cooperative partner of 35MW-45MW steam turbines for improving the secondary output of the combined cycle in this project.
All the units mentioned above have strong technical strength and foundation with keen interest in the creation of integrated high-efficiency clean regional coal-based thermal power cogeneration projects. It is expected that the equipment manufactured by them can be used in this system and make contribution to the connection of scientific research and technology.
